Institutional Problem Addressed
Many institutions inherit systems of judgment and exchange that no longer fit the questions they face. Prototyping allows these systems to be tested as lived situations.
Collaborative research and bounded testing may focus on mechanisms or protocol hypotheses emerging from NVI’s artistic corpus, external practices, or jointly developed inquiries. Each collaboration defines its research question, context, documentation, and terms of evaluation. Public descriptions do not provide implementation-ready specifications.
